In recognition of his noteworthy service in the field of homeopathy,
well known Bangalore based Homeopath Dr. B. T. Rudresh has been
selected as Governing Council Member of the Central council for
Research in homeopathy by the Department Ayush of the union Ministry
of health and Family Welfare. His term of office is for a period
of three years.
Dr. Rudresh is the first Homeopath from Karnataka to be nominated
for the national level body.
The central council is the highest decision making body under the
ministry of health and Family welfare and Dr. Rudresh is one of the
five experts in homeopathy from all the country nominated for the
body.
The aims and object s of the central council include: to initiate,
aid, develop and coordinate scientific research in different aspects
of Homeopathy and to promote and assist institutions of research for
the study of diseases, their prevention, causation and remedy and to
finance enquiries and researches for the furtherance of objects of
the Central Council.
Dr Rudresh, who hails from Belawadi village in Chickamagalur
district, has been Practicing and propagating Homeopathy for the
last 28years. If Homeopathy has grown In popularity in the state,
the main credit should go to Dr. Rudresh. He has so far treated over
five lakh patients from all over the country.
During the last four years, Dr. Rudresh has also treated over
1600 infertility cases through Non-invasive way of treatment.
The highlight of Dr. Rudresh’s treatment is low cost; as a Result
his treatment is accessible to all poor patients.
The invitation from the Delhi Government in 1999 for the treatment
of dropsy cases has been a feather in he cap of Dr. Rudresh’s
achievement. When there was an outbreak of epidemic in national
capital, he went there on invitation and successfully treated
several patients.
In recognition of his untiring crusade for the cause of Homeopathy,
the Karnataka Government conferred the Rajyotsava Award in 1996.
Besides, Dr. Rudresh has been the recipient of Sahitya Sree
National Award from Madhya Pradesh in 1994, Hahnemann Gold
Medal in 1996 and Kempegowda Award from the Bangalore Mahanagar
palike in 1999. Dr. Rudresh has made several documentaries on
Homeopathy and has also written many books on it. He is also the
past president of the Homeopathy Medical Association of India.
